TENCEL™ LYOCELL

When selecting our materials and manufacturing procedures, we strive to be sustainable, considerate and future-proof. For this reason, we have expanded our use of fibres to include an additional and truly special fibre, deciding in favour of TENCEL™. TENCEL™ Lyocell is out of a natural raw material and is manufactured using sustainable processes. This is good for nature and for our climate.

TENCEL™ Lyocell is sourced from cellulose – the natural building block of wood, a sustainable raw material. One key characteristic of cellulose is its biodegradability. This means that, at the end of its life cycle, the fibres once again become part of the ecosystem. They form the soil in which new plants grow.

GOOD TO KNOW:
100% of the raw material makes it into the product. More than 99% of the auxiliary materials used within the fibre-spinning process are re-used. When manufacturing fabric, the TENCEL™ fibres require approx. 97% less fresh water compared to conventional cotton, and are breathable, gentle against the skin and are able to withstand substantial stresses.
