Support from BRAX for the Charity Sale for Childaid Network Foundation was a huge success

In the summer of 2017, BRAX received an enquiry from the Childaid Network Foundation. The organisation asked whether our company would like to support a donation event with a donation of clothing for a Childaid project in Assam/Northern India. It was immediately clear to us: We are happy to help! We made such a big donation of clothes that the foundation was able to raise proceeds for its children's aid project in 2018 as well.

2018 was a good year for the charity sale for Childaid Network Foundation. Together with the donations made available by BRAX, enough money was raised to support 80 children – a great and encouraging number. The donation from BRAX clothing had a large share in this success. With the proceeds from the sale of BRAX clothing, the full costs of living of one year can be financed for 25 children. The next charity sale will take place on 30 March 2019 once again BRAX will support the event with a big donation of clothes!

The Childaid Network organisation promotes the education of needy children and young people with the aim of eliminating poverty and creating perspectives for the future. Childaid aims to make long-term, sustainable improvements in their living situation. This was precisely the reason why we were delighted to take part in the Charity Sale for Childaid by providing a donation of clothing and making a positive contribution. The Childaid children’s homes already offer more than 200 children the opportunity of growing up in a loving and child-friendly environment with regular, healthy meals and the opportunity to attend school.

Orphans over the age of 18 receive support to enable them to stand on their own feet and meet the challenges of life independently. This involves support with education, help in taking a degree or assistance in finding a job. The programme also includes therapy for traumatised individuals and help for children and young people with physical and mental disabilities. This enables them to recover from their difficult life on the street and then start a new and better future.
